16 января 2007 года Евгений Кушнарев получил огнестрельное ранение во время охоты, на которую он выехал по приглашению хозяев изюмских угодий — семьи Завальных, и находился на охоте в группе однопартийцев и коллег, точный перечень которых неизвестен. Также неизвестны точные обстоятельства получения смертельного ранения.

Корабль, который строился как символ торжества человеческого разума и технологий, погиб в первом же своем плавании. 8 роковых совпадений, исследование конструктивных ошибок, странные предсказания, переживания очевидцев. 2 200 человек на борту… и один шанс спастись. До сегодняшнего дня «Титаник» остается символом незащищенности человека перед стихией и фатальным стечением обстоятельств.
Но эта история подарила миру и имена тех, кто проявил лучшие свои качества — смелость, самопожертвование, верность долгу…

Jonathan Brickers work has uncovered a scientifically sound approach to behavior change that is twice as effective as most currently practiced methods. His new methods are driving new norms and new apps for how people quit smoking and decrease obesity, saving many people from an early death.
Jonathan Bricker is an internationally recognized scientific leader in a bold approach called acceptance and commitment therapy. A Stanford researcher called his use of the approach “a breakthrough in behavioral research [that] has major public health implications for the major causes of preventable death.” Bricker and his team, having received $10 million in total federal research grants to study this topic, are rigorously testing this intervention on multiple platforms, including smartphone apps, websites, and telephone coaching. His SmartQuit app for quitting smoking was recently launched and is now in distribution worldwide.

He has authored or co-authored more than 200 scientific publications and is the inventor or co-inventor of 62 patents. Shoseyov is a TED speaker and co-owner and winemaker of BRAVDO winery (http://www.bravdo.co.il/home) named after his mentor, and partner Prof. Ben Ami Bravdo.
Prof. Shoseyov received the Outstanding Scientist Polak Award for 2002, the 1999 and 2010 Kay Award for Innovative and Applied Research, The 2012 Israel Prime Minister Citation for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, The 2018 Presidential Award for his contribution to the Economy and Society of Israel.
