TEDxAthens is a world-class conference about Innovation, Creativity and Ideas based in Athens, Greece. TEDxAthens is one of the first TEDx events worldwide and the first ever TEDx event in Greece — started in May 2009. Its main goal is to develop and leverage the TED experience at a regional level, uniting innovators, thinkers, inspirational speakers, shakers, makers and breakers. TEDxAthens is curated by Dimitris Kalavros-Gousiou and organized by a team of 40 volunteers.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The fan-dubbed “Acoustic Ninja” must be seen to be believed, using harmonics, looping, multiple capos, and his unique banter and stage presence to deliver an unforgettable live experience. Internationally-acclaimed guitar virtuoso Trace Bundy shares his musical artistry with us this year. Trace’s witty banter and stage presence delivers an unforgettable live concert experience.
Trace is based in Boulder, but his unique career has brought him across the world, with concerts in 28 countries and counting — from high-tech performance halls in South Korea and Italy, to remote villages in Zimbabwe and Guatemala. His video clips have circulated virally, with over 43 million YouTube views to date. Лена, ухоженная красотка, вместе со своим богатым мужем путешествует по Волге на собственной яхте. Им приходится встать на вынужденный ремонт в городе Заволжске – полетела электропроводка. Муж сходит на берег в поисках приключений, а Лена сталкивается с шокирующей российской действительностью в лице электрика Димы. Раздраженная Лена срывает злость на Диме, и в итоге выталкивает его с яхты, не заплатив ни копейки. Поздно ночью она сама случайно падает за борт, пьяный муж этого не замечает, командуя «полный вперед».
На следующий день Дима встречает в городской больнице Заволжска Лену с полной амнезией, которая тем не менее, качает права и скандалит с персоналом. Дима решает проучить эту дамочку. Он объявляет Лену своей женой и привозит ее домой. Если она считает себя хозяйкой жизни, пусть поработает хозяйкой у него на кухне. За те несколько дней, что она проведет в этом шумном доме, Лене предстоит научиться готовить и убираться, найти общий язык с младшими детьми, стать хорошей подругой для «дочери»-подростка. А главное – почувствовать себя частью большой семьи и встретить настоящую любовь в лице Димы – электрика, который так зло над ней пошутил…

Душанбе не ценит свою историю, сносит всё, что успело сохраниться, и строит чёрт знает что. Раньше город был целостным, а сейчас за стилем улиц никто не следит. Повсюду заборы, грязь, некачественные небоскрёбы, плакаты с президентом, а на дорогах творится хаос. Но зато окраины города выглядят круто: чисто, нет самостроя и в каждом дворе — тандыр!
