Survivor domestic abuse speaks up - I left on a tuesday | Chiara Lisowski | TEDxMaastricht

Chiaras emotional talk covers the subject of domestic abuse. “I chose this topic because violence against women is still seen as a taboo and more specifically a ‘women’s issue’ when really, it is everyone’s problem. I would like to challenge you to dispel any stereotypes they may have about abuse. If I can help just one person free themselves of an abusive relationship with my words, then that would be one less person living in unjust suffering. In the words of Maya Angelou: ‘Each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women’.” Chiara Lisowski leaves us without words. | PETR IVANOV | TEDxRANEPA

PETR IVANOV
Founder and creative director of «Department». «Department» assists leading international brands and influential Russian companies in expanding their client base, being one step ahead of the competitors in the market and realizing exciting projects since 2007. Every day the company proves its efficiency and significance in four main areas: Creativе Content, Event Organization, PR, Video Production.
TALK: It’s not dangerous to dream. How to become more creative right now?
Creativity is the ability to find non-standard solutions to problems. Is it a talent or a skill? It’s a skill! The secret to creativity is to reawaken your inner child. He is a creator inside each of us, he should be taken out of control of the inner parent. Then we can easily dream, as we used to do in our childhood. If there are more people in the world who can easily fantasize, our world will be filled with new incredible ideas and their embodiment.
